Learning Initiatives Necessary for Kids

It is the mission of PROJECT LINK to provide teachers, schools and families access to training, programs and materials that will enhance current educational programming and foster better outcomes for each child.

PROJECT LINK hopes to help provide highly effective educational program support to our community that will enable the best possible outcomes for each child’s individualized needs. Our primary goal is to close the gap between funding provided through a Free and Appropriate Education and higher quality educational opportunities. To date these resources have been unavailable to most and it is our hope to be able to provide these to all.

PROJECT LINK to date has provided reduced tuition or free training to more than 175 teachers and families in this area. These trainings were provided to, school districts, pre-school agencies and independent providers who in turn are successfully implementing proven teaching methodologies to 100’s of children diagnosed with Autism and/or severe language delays in our region. We will continue through successful fundraising efforts to expand the availability of these types of supports.

We Envision:
* Training opportunities for teachers, parents, schools and programs which will provide quality education for children with severe language delays.
* A School/clinic which will provide services beyond what our current system is capable of supporting.
* Collaborative efforts with the community for developmental opportunities for our special children and their families.
* The availability of family supports and services to supplement an appropriate education.
* Sponsorships from families, educators and businesses to assist in our cause
* The capability to link the community to proven research based educational methodologies
* The ability to provide a link to closing the gap between treatment and recovery in a holistic approach.
