PROJECT LINK is a not-for-profit organization established in 2005 by parents and educators to provide opportunities for training the educational community in both the service provision and understanding of children with severe developmental delays in language.
Today the incidence of Autism is 1 in 110, and the Greater Capital Region of Upstate New York is home to the highest population of these children in New York state outside of New York City. This creates a need for families, agencies, schools to have more classrooms to have more intensive levels of programming without the additional funding mechanisms in place to support their needs.
PROJECT LINK provides highly effective educational program support to our community that enables the best possible outcomes for each child's individualized needs. Our primary goal is to close the gap between funding provided through a Free and Appropriate Education and higher quality educational opportunities. To date these resources have been unavailable to most and it is our hope
to be able to provide these to all.
